Expressway Construction

What’s with all the I-96 Expressway construction around Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, and Southfield, MI? The expressway is now under construction to improve the flow of traffic. However, before this construction is complete, you may have to deal with some minor delays and detours. This may also affect your accessibility to our Feldman Hyundai of New Hudson dealership. From Spring 2024 through Fall 2024, WB I-96 to NB/SB Milford will be closed for construction. The detour will be accessed through WB I-96, SB Kent Lake and EB Grand River to Milford.

During the construction, we’ve noticed how much it affects our customers looking to visit our showroom. We offer a diverse selection of models and our customers love to get the physical feel of the vehicle they’re interested in.

The construction, unfortunately, can cause some local exits to close. Some exits that lead to our offices are expected to close, making it harder for our new and returning customers to visit us.

Luckily, there is more than one way to get to our lot. There are detours that can help map out alternative exits and roads to get you where you need to go. However, if you’re not familiar with the route, we suggest using some navigational applications.

Depending on your vehicle, you may have access to built-in navigation. If this is the case, just input our address and it should automatically create an alternate route. If not, you can take advantage of free phone apps like Waze or Google Maps. Both are free and user-friendly; just download them straight to your phone via the app store.
