In-Cabin Features & Technology

2021 Hyundai Tucson Sport Cream WhiteThe cabins of the new Hyundai Tucson and new Honda CR-V each offer some impressive features and sophisticated technology to their respective drivers. The Tucson includes a 7-inch touchscreen display, while the CR-V comes standardly equipped with a 5-inch LCD screen that lacks touch capabilities.

Each vehicle includes AM/FM radios, USB and auxiliary inputs, and Bluetooth® connectivity for hands-free phone calling and audio streaming. The Hyundai Tucson includes more connectivity with features like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. These features will integrate your smartphone into the screen, and will give you direct access to your texts, apps, contacts, media, and more.

The Honda CR-V does offer these features, but only after you upgrade to higher trim levels.

Driver-Assisting Technology Features

2021 Hyundai Tucson SE Crimson RedThe Tucson and CR-V each come equipped with driver-assisting technology features. These features function based on sensors that are mounted to the exterior front and rear of the vehicles. They measure the vehicles’ proximity to the object ahead while factoring in the speed and rate of approach in order to detect a possible collision or lane departure. They’ll send an alert and use brake pressure to help reduce the issue or give you time to avoid it altogether.

Both the Hyundai Tucson and Honda CR-V include collision mitigation systems and lane keeping systems to assist you on the road. The Hyundai Tucson also features a Driver Attention Warning (DAW). This feature recognizes when you’re less engaged and will provide an alert, as well as recommend a break after a long duration of driving.

Interior Comfort & Style

Each SUV offers plenty of space and comfort for their passengers, with more than 100 cubic feet of passenger volume in each. The Tucson and Honda CR-V each come standard with cloth seating too. However, the Tucson interior includes Yes Essentials® fabric, which is designed for comfort, as well as being easy to clean and it repels stains. The CR-V doesn’t offer a similar seating material, so you won’t be able to clean your car as easily.
